Our Annual Halloween event is being rebranded the "Fall Festival" as it will happen on Saturday, November 2nd, after we come back from Fall Break. Don't worry, we will still feature Trunk or Treat, and we will be adding some new fun activities: Spooky Science Experiments, Chili cook-off, Bake Sale, and more! Stay Tuned! Getting Ready for the International Festival 2025!
We are collecting theme ideas for this year's International Festival. Examples of previous themes include "My Home, My Earth" "and Cultures of Color".
Bring your suggestions to the PTO Events Table at the bAsh or email ptointfestival@ash.nl. Short slogans preferred!
Deadline for submissions is September 15. The International Festival committee will vote for the theme at the first meeting October 1, in order to have sufficient time for planning the PTO's biggest event of the year to be held on April 12, 2025. Want to help? Join us on October 1st!
Back to School Spirit Wear
The Spirit Wear store is up and running for the year. Online orders can be placed at https://www.pto.ash.nl/spiritwear.
We have several sale items and have restocked all your favorites. Join us at the bASH on Saturday to get your gear.
Volunteers needed! We are working toward a weekly "in person" shopping schedule at our Main campus and ECC stores, but we need your help! Training provided. Reach out to us at spiritwear@ash.nl
PTO Website Revamp
One of our goals for this year is the updating of the PTO website. We are looking for parents with website experience, including website architecture, design, and/or maintenance to help us explore the best platforms, functionality, and design based on current best practices. Activities at ASH
Join Recreational Volleyball every Monday 18:45 to 20:30 in the ASH Sport Hall.
Fun for anyone that enjoys a casual game of 🏐 and an opportunity to meet other parents.
New parents are welcome and high school students that play volleyball (with the school or in clubs) can attend WITH parental supervision (play with your kid!).

We're getting ready for the Fall Festival Costume Swap! Bring your gently used costumes to the PTO Events table at the bASH, then be on the lookout for the COSTUME SWAP days in October, and come pick out something "new"!
ALL Sizes and accessories welcome.
(There will be other opportunities to donate costumes in October as well.)

Community Events
Open Monument Days, September 14th-15th.
During Open Monument Day thousands of historical buildings and sites (about 4,000) are open to the public free of charge. Besides opening their doors, many locations also organize on-site activities like exhibitions, musical performances and guided tours.This year’s theme is “Routes, networks and links”, which means lots of locks, forts and towers, but there’s also the lure of castles and gardens, such as Slot Haamstede, whose creaky doors will open just for one day. “Wassenaars 15,” a 15km and 7.5km race, October 13th, 2024
In it's 10th year, this fun race combines a sporty performance with a great party and charities, while running through the streets and forests of Wassenaar.
